WHO IS LUMMANI?

An overcomer, a storyteller. Someone who has had high highs and low lows, Lummani has scars that tell stories of victory and tragedy. A deep lover of others but also not the one to mess with. A lover and deliverer of truth.

WHAT WOULD YOU CONSIDER YOUR BIGGEST ACCOMPLISHMENT THUS FAR IN YOUR CAREER?

Starting, for me overcoming the fear of failure and harsh criticism as an artist. I just had to really take a leap of faith and believe in and bet on myself, from writing my first single, having my song professionally recorded in and hearing the final product. I fell in love with the record and was proud of myself and hope that others loved the record as well as it being played on the radio as an independent artist.

WHAT LEGACY WOULD YOU LIKE TO LEAVE BEHIND FOR YOURSELF?

I would want to be known as someone who gives off good vibes and being better than what they were before they encountered me. I want to show people they can and being part of something BIGGER than ourselves!

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY IN THE NEXT 5 YEARS?

Growing, expanding, evolving, and elevating in creative new ways. Taking my craft and gifts to another level.
Fulfilling a purpose of success in every aspect of my life as well as thriving in writing, producing, engineering, vocal coaching, managing, and parenting.

WHO WOULD YOU CONSIDER YOUR INFLUENCES IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY?

I have so many because I’m eclectic but id say a few of them are in no specific order but, Aaliyah, Anita Baker, Brandy, Charlie Wilson
Denise Williams, Dorothy Dandridge, Keke Wyatt, Keith sweat, Kim Burrell, Mary J Blige, Tupac, Rihanna, Selena, and TLC.

WHO WOULD WANT TO COLLAB WITH IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY?

I love music and I love those who’ve impacted not just my life but the world and are unapologetically themselves so id have to say:
Brandy, Beyoncé, Chris Brown, Cardi B, Jay z, Usher.
