Red Mcfly

Producers have always been a key if not main ingredient in any genre of music. But only a handful of people can coordinate, guide, & orchestrate how an artist should sound on top quality production in which the artist returns to keep any type of artistic momentum and chemistry going in a successful musical career.

We are in 2022 and the business and role of a producer has grown so much over the years. Today, a producer is more of a business than just a paid for hire artist if you will. Producers are marketing themselves as artists while doing things like releasing instrumental albums and at the same time, marketing themselves as a business while selling beats online trying to beat out the competition. It’s a large roster of producers emerging every year so the competition isn’t getting any easier.

Add Red Mcfly to that roster of producers. Born in Newark, New Jersey then relocating to Allentown, Pennsylvania, he has self taught his way behind the boards of making musical instrumentation for countless artists both underground and mainstream. Being influenced by Rza, Kanye West, Pete Rock and others, Red Mcfly has won producer of the year 3 times in his career (LVMA’s and Spiral Music Awards) and has gained millions of streams online from his online beatstores on youtube and beatstars which paved the way for placements with big names like Max B, Shyne, Lil Flip, Peedi Crakk, and others. He even landed having his greatest inspiration, Kanye West record on one of his beats which is still an unreleased track floating around on the internet.

He mastered the art of financial stability by selling beats via his website www.Redmcfly.com from the traffic he gets from the video posts of his production process on his Instagram @Redmcfly. Red Mcfly employs a beat-leasing strategy, allowing customers to purchase a single beat for as low as $50. Though the cost is budget-friendly, the beat can be re-leased to others for the same price. He claims to lease his production to “more than a thousand people. I sell leases literally everyday.” Full ownership rights are available, but come with a premium price.

Red has branded himself as a producer/artist over the last 10 years and he’s currently gearing up to release his next album and third installment of his “Takeflight” series, “Takeflight 3”. He also has plans to release another instrumental album after the success of “Throttlewave” and “Quarantine Type Beats” which was released during the height of the covid quarantine in 2020. With big names already under his belt, Red Mcfly has no plans of stopping or slowing down. It looks as though this is just the beginning of a great career to come.
